New Developments

If you have noticed I haven't been blogging as often as I was. The reason is that I have started yet another project. This one is like the culmination of everything I had hoped for up until this point. I have wanted to do something like this for awhile and didn't have the guts to do it myself. So a friend of mine asked me if I would help her with a project she had in mind and it just so happened that our hearts were in the same spot.

So join us over on http://saveabuck.forumotion.net

We have freebies galore, and coupons and contests. Everything I wanted for this blog, but just didn't have the time or energy to do it all by myself. It is just getting off the ground and it has been real exciting so far. We have contests planned for our own members and even some gifts we are giving away for number of referrals.

St Joseph's Lakota school

On the 19th of this month I gave the link for the St Joseph's Lakota school. These are people who will send out nice little goodies such as note pads or key chains. I had signed up for one of their freebies they were offering then (on the 19th if April) and TODAY I received from them some address labels, two nice greeting cards, and a notepad. Very nice and not real over bearing with the asking for money part. I like to send a different organization a few dollars each month, but that is just my own personal thing.

Flix Floss Samples

Here's one I found today. I am not sure how valid it is. It is best to have a separate email address for signing up for freebies because many times the only reason they advertise a freebie is in order to get your email addy.
My experience has been that the more freebies I sign up for the more freebies I get....that doesn't take a rocket scientist. Not all of them come. Many of them are old and outdated and no one bothered to take down the page. And many of them are for phishing. But on an average day I sign up for anywhere from 4-14 freebies. And every single day my mail box has between 2 and 6 freebies sent to me. So do the math.
Anyway, here is the link to the Flix Stix ... http://www.flixsticks.com/sandwich

FREEBIES THAT ARE SEEKING DONATIONS

There is one source of freebies that is real common, and if you don't mind the emails some of them can be quite nice. Certain agencies give out little freebies then ask for a donation. You don't have to give the donation in order to receive the freebie, but that is the sole intent of the freebie campaign. This one, from the St. Joseph's Indian School send out nice little trinkets like dream catcher key chains, or note cards, or address labels. And the "secret" is, if you DO give them, even a couple dollars then they keep sending you more and more cute little gifts, maybe once every three months or more. Always a nice little surprise if you aren't expecting them. And at no time is a donation demanded, only requested. It looks like a real good cause, too.
